Its a post popular on other forums, so why not start one here.

Today I pulled the car out and adjusted all 4 rear lights to millimetre perfection. They have a habit of moving around a bit over the years, work lose, or in some cases break, and not being perfectly aligned buggers about with my OCD !!

Installed a new battery, changed and insulated new terminal clamps to newer simple streamlined ones with pvc covers, re wired the aftermarket stereo so when battery switch off everything is off no parasitic draw. Insulated the foot panel bar and hold down bar. Cleaned up all wiring to terminals. Battery slips in without any untidy wiring blocking ingress and egress. Hope to never see it again during my ownership. Those original clunky terminals are huge with 3 extra connections on each and are raised high making them difficult to maneuver under the bar to connect battery then slide in the space. Now there is plenty of clearance to simply pull it out and loosen terminals for a change without worrying about a short between terminals. The stereo pos lead was moved to the pos lead to fuse box and tucked up out of the way. The neg stereo lead was bolted to a chassis bolt to the right of the battery space. Stereo works fine and has no interference and ample power. Cutoff switch kill everything now.

I drove it from Amsterdam to the costa brava in Spain. Lovely trip of a 1000 miles Got a couple of red slow down warnings while going uphill into the mountains. And I think there are a million dead insects splashed on the front side :)

Tips for removing central tunnel panel for 360 ( or 430)
There are 3 screw at each side of the central tunnel piece.
the middle screw at each side of the tunnel panel is difficult to access. I need to remove all 4 screws of the seats, and then tilt the seat towards the back

I read that it means the exhaust is overheated. I happened three times when I was climbing a mountain for about 25 miles 80mph. I went back to 60 and it immediately went away. Maybe it's because I have the challenge headers. But it never happens during track racing. Only hill climbing.
