    I've had the car for about a month and still discovering things about it. Does anyone know what this panel is and why its a different material to the carpet?

    It’s the kick plate, they did not take the protective white plastic film off, it will be silver metal underneath. It will peal off but its a pain to do, I think thats why they don't do it.

    It might help warming the film up first with a hair dryer?

    I just noticed how much better the GTS badge looks not being on the dashboard. A benefit of not have the passenger display.

    I noticed mine was still on too. Mentioned to the service rep that I like having it on to remind me of its newness. Got the car back and it was removed. :(

    Other thing, if you like peeling protective foils off, you might still have one on the passanger sun shade mirror :)
