I totally get it- I'm 100% OEM on all my cars with the exception of Capristo exhaust on my 355.

Again- They look amazing and admire your persistence- Cheers :)

Nice, but aren't those 16M wheels? Not 458... 430 scuderia 16M. I was looking at a set for my 430 (non floppy top). They are plug and play on the 430.

I'm not 100% certain but I think they are the same but one is 19" and the others 20". Maybe someone else will know for certain

No, as per title these are genuine 458 OEM 20" lightweight alloys on an F430. The 16m are 19 inch and indeed are 5x108 67.1 CB and plug and play.

The rims look great! I have the same car and didn't think it could look any better.

More concerning though, you might want to speak with your mechanic, it looks like your steering wheel is on the wrong side.

    (that was a joke)

Both sets look great as long as the adapter problem is solved on the 114.3 mm x 5 wheels. They certainly look better with Lorenzo's larger brakes.

    Always loved that wheel style.

I am sorry, I prefer the original wheels... how much lighter are the new ones? They ARE lighter, aren't they?

No worries we are all different, I thought you where looking for a set albeit 16m?

Yes they are lighter, quite a bit, the F430 wheels feel like big iron when lifting them up! meaningless to me though, the wider wheels definitely give more grip though, its harder to unstick!

Changing wheels is not for everyone.
In my opinion these wheels modernize the car and they also make the calipers pop

It was going to well, out for late lunch now the car is complete, on the way home 15mph through the town with heavy traffic and wallop, hit a pothole that jarred the car (the feel you get when you know its hit the rim!!) all seemed ok until I got on the dual carriageway (2 miles from home) and the car starts to feel all loose on the front, slowed down, got it home to find the tyre hissing away and nearly flat.

I've been back to take pictures of the pothole and this is the offending one, its just so sharp and its actually crimped the tyre and cut it in 2 places.

    The f*cking pothole.....

The damage to a new wheel and brand new tyre!! don't know what the full damage is until the tyre is removed!

So it now looks like this again

I am not sure I am going to run the 458 wheels again, I might give up, as our roads in the UK have never been worse!! I think I will have this problem again with a 30 profile tyre, I do not think this is a one off, it’s been on the car for no more than 25 miles, and I was lucky this time that it happened close to home and not get embarrassingly stranded! Gutted as I really like them, but I don’t really want this issue again and what with the front tyres costing £270 each !

So that now leaves a 458 wheel to be refurbished, but I might go OEM with the set because I am going to sell them, and the original wheels going a different colour, so back to the studio!
