Per A well known dealer source: “While berlinetta is an Italian word for “little saloon,” it’s also the diminutive form of berlina, which means “sedan.” This of course makes sense, as Ferrari does not produce sedans. The linguistic alteration thus indicates fewer doors. However, for the 458 Ferrari did not notate the Italia as a GTB (as they did with the 488 coupe or the F12). Anyway I think personal attacks and name calling are not really acceptable here and often leads to a ban so maybe take it down a notch. At the end of the day let’s stay positive as well have enough crap in the world right now.
Agreed on the attacks, however, I clearly posted a pic of the first page of my power warranty. That shows without a doubt, that Ferrari themselves, call the 458 a Berlinetta. It's undeniable and in "black and white". But no need to dwell on this anymore and let's all get back on topic!

when ferrari only has 2 new cars to offer (roma/296 gtb) and the wait is over a year at best....how could the 458 not hold it's value ?
I just saw a yellow 2011 458 with 6,400 miles listed for sale at $299,000.00 by a non Ferrari dealer. It had a decent enough option list.
