Despite it being very silent, I think it's hard to say to be honest.

I actually passed a Roma on the motorway about three weeks ago while in a Taycan, and I had the window down. All I could hear was tyre noise and wind. With flaps closed and just humming along at about 120 kph, it was dead silent. More and more sports cars tend to only make noise when you put your foot in it. I wonder if that's the case here.

Were there any EV warning stickers on the car?

You made me think and now I have some doubt about it. No, I didn't see them, but the car was moving and I was driving. I crossed it several times and one time he was drivind at 65 kph (a bit more than 40 mph) and no engine noise at all.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it was as silent as the 296 GTB prototype driving in EV I met some times ago aside the Factory.

This said, I just checked my videos and pictures (I took several, all yesterday) and no EV sticker was visible, so I modded the youtube video description, even if I still think the ICE was off.

    Ciao

Hilarious how everyone HATES the FF/Lusso design but the Purosangue is a "game changer". It's basically the exact same exterior design just updated and enlarged.

My impression of the camouflaged mules are oddly proportioned/not human scale. That's probably why the driver always looks so tiny, its a giant proportioned car.

I don't believe that's true, many of us appreciate the FF/Lusso design.

I didn’t know the same folks who hate the Lusso thing Purosangue is a fantastic game changer…. :/

Still, four doors will be a much more useful car for us than the two door. And still get the outdated awful V12! ;)

No he's absolutely right. I hate the FF/Luso, especially the names and the hatchbacks. The cars in person are insane and quite impressive, but I have no desire if they were given to me for free. Now jack them up a few inches and call it an SUV/FUV and I'm in. I love the SUV ride height, I hope these will be semi comparable. hell if I could sit on the roof of an FF and drive it like a horse wagon I'd probably have bought one.

In the US, no one likes hatchbacks/salloons/whatever-you-wanna-call it. No matter what. You can coat it in diamonds, sell it for free, and it won't be of interest. Meanwhile you could label a Miata an SUV and it will sell out.

Dunno that I agree. Here’s one I love.

And it replaced the FF that was in that slot.

I will add a Purosangue 12 whatever it will be called and see. The added height does not offer much to my understanding for driving dynamics or true utility for me. The only reason people say UV is to sell trucks to people who philosophically won’t buy them.

For my demographic your not correct on your assessment. But one cannot argue that adiditional doors and increased clearance adds value/utility for many especially in the US.

Adding clearance doesn’t do much for me, although a bit higher can’t hurt in terms of ingress and egress for a daily. Again, the extra doors is the good part.

We are a house divided. I love the Lusso, wife not so much. I think it is the low, long with the hatch that she doesn’t appreciate. Proportions are off to her. Raise it a couple of inches and she might find it more appealing, I don’t know. Either way, I’m looking forward to it.

The Purosangue will be a supersized FF/Lusso with 4 doors and a modicum of increased clearance. For many it means improved ingress/egress especially for those who are supersized, out of shape or physically challenged. Add the 812 engine +\- hybrid(HOV Pass anyone?) and you have a winning combo here in the US (Land of the Free, Home of the Large).
There is only so much one can do to the basic 2 box SUV design which has not been done before but add Ferrari level performance to the equation and I might be convinced it’s worth having

Hahahaha!!! Never heard that before! LOL! I remember thinking Jackie Gleason was huge, now he looks average - maybe even in the slim side of average…

(I’m not very large, but getting in and out of low cars is getting more awkward every year!)

And I hope it is not supersized! Lusso is big enough.

Yikes. I hope the put a taller tyre on the final product. Those are way too skinny. They need to fill those wheel arch gaps with some tyre wall.

What a difference large diameter wheels make. I hope those are the final production-intent design.

I agree alternative types of wheels can make the Purosangue look different.

It would be ironic if the SUV ends up having the smallest fender gaps of any Ferrari model.

Looking forward to the uncovered design and Im interested to replace my Lusso except it sounds like the V12 won’t be available to the average Ferrari owner like myself.

I guess we are on the same boat. I would hate to let go of my V12 Lusso for some V6 SUV. I would be interested by a V12 4 door SUV, but I am not on that list.
