    As far as I know, that plate (that should be there) is the only spot that has the power train assembly number.

    Why would it be missing? Perhaps the engine/cradle was swapped?

    I don’t know. Maybe one of the previous owners did it. Aren’t there any way to know Assembly Number?

    Ferrari NA has access, but will they share it with you? Not sure if posting your VIN and engine number would help;
    perhaps someone has numbers close to yours? Might get you in the ball park.

    On my GTS there is a second duplicate assembly number plate on the rear underside of the targa roof so there may be a second plate elsewhere on your car.

    Possibly the ferrari register may have that serial number listed along with the assembly number plate?

    Yes, Tim! I checked my entry on Robbie's F355 Registry and I did submit my car's Assembly Number.

    Yoon, here's a link to the registry: Ferrari 355 Registry

    It's a long shot but it might be in the manual/warranty booklet? I am not sure where else that it would be located.

    The dealer MIGHT be able to find it... When I looked mine up on MODIS it only gave me paint and interior colors but mine is a '95 and I know that some things aren't available to me (like being able to get a replacement window sticker).
