Good to know (as a EU resident/Dutchie) that it has changed hands and changes are coming. I am not attending this year but many times in the past and likely will fly in 2023.

As Covid changed a lot of gatherings (or even cancelled multiple times) it is recommended to inform yourself before attending. Last couple of years Villa 'd Este at Como Italy was not open for public, invite only and max 1.500 pers admitted (including staff). Last week it was open to public again (after 2 years) however the atmosphere changed a lot. Not sure if we are going again in 2023.

I was surprised to hear that no racing is taking place on Sunday at LS so Pebble Beach Concour doesn’t conflict.

Concours on the avenue, I read before that this informal parade of classic cars in Carmel on Tuesday of car week was cancelled because of the death of the event founder.
Yet there is still a website devoted to it with a 2022 date. Maybe they didn't get around to cancelling the website.

    CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE
Carmel-by-the-Sea's whimsical architecture, inspired by Arthur Rackham's illustrations for children's fairy tales, provides a unique setting for the CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE. This is the latest addition to the prestigious group of events that make up the area's internationally known Monterey Peninsula ten-day collector car gathering, celebrating the finest in automotive design and engineering. Carmel-by-the-Sea's world-famous Ocean Avenue will be closed to traffic and eighteen blocks of downtown will be filled with collector cars and related motorized fun. A fascinating mix of American and foreign cars will be showcased in front of a backdrop of charming shops, critically acclaimed restaurants and numerous galleries. The CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE will focus on vehicles not usually seen during this ten-day period. The cars will include a variety of legendary vehicles. Well over 175 cars will be on display in groups of juried classes during CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE. These will include Luxury Cars, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Sporting Cars.

Micro Cars and others will highlight vehicles from the sublime to the spectacular. Selections will be based on a variety of factors, including authenticity, originality and provenance. Additional consideration will be given to cars that inspired youthful dreams, interesting stories and the hard-to-define fun factor. Class and major awards will be presented in the late afternoon. Families will want to remain in Carmel-by-the-Sea to enjoy dinner after the event has concluded, completing a full day of enjoying both the cars and Carmel's unique setting. The CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE supports The Carmel Foundation in their work to provide a wide variety of services to Monterey Peninsula seniors.

Another Ferrari event in Monterey just before car week. The name Pasadera looks at first glance like Pasadena but it looks like a well organized event.

I exhibited there in their first year, debating whether or not to exhibit this year. It's a very small show which has steadily raised their prices ($150 year one, $250 next year and this year it's up to $350). Only a very small number of cars are placed in the courtyard, the rest in the adjacent clubhouse parking lot. It does include extras for exhibitors. I know the organizer, he does a good job of trying to put on a nice show.

Give it up! The event isn't happening and they just haven't taken down the web site yet. As I've pointed out, the local paper clearly published that the event is off for this year. The widow said maybe it might happen next year (2023).

I am surprised that at Pasadera, only some of the cars will be on the grass, the rest on a parking lot (cement). At least at the Ferrari Concorso all the cars will be on the grass.

Legends of the Autobahn, when it was held at Pasadera for several years, and the 2015 Ferrari Nationals held there both used 2-3 of the fairways closest to the clubhouse. But the Pasadera Concours is a much, much smaller event. Besides, using the courtyard and a portion of the parking lot allows members to still use the golf course, although it looks like the 1st fairway will be used as spectator parking. In past years, the only grass used for the Pasadera Concours was a small patch around the clubhouse...maybe for no more than 7-10 cars.

Concorso Italiano is huge, taking over a much larger area. It's interesting to note that the Porsche Werks Reunion, which was held at the 2nd golf course at Bayonet/Blackhorse, has moved to Monterey Pines golf course for 2022. Legends of the Autobahn, which lost access to Pasadera last year, has moved to Pacific Grove Golf Links for 2022, the site where WorldWide Auctions has held their auction the last couple years (they're skipping Monterey for 2022).

I will be showing my 1971 Dino 246GT at the Pasadera event. I decided to bite the bullet and bring it `out of retirement (from showing)' for this particular show since it's celebrating Ferrari. My 2013 458 Italia will be shown at Concorso Italiano this year.

I should've mentioned that my 458 Italia should be easy to spot at Concorso...because it's not red...;)

Will all the Ferraris on the Ferrari tour Saturday be on display at Casa Ferrari on Saturday afternoon? About which time? One owner of a Mondial told me he was invited but I thought the Ferrari Concorso was going to be all special high performance and or/racing cars, and one off cars?

Prior to Covid, there was an event in downtown Carmel on Thursday at about noon with the Pebble Beach cars parked on Ocean Ave. It was cancelled last year. Is it back on this year?

Confused in Cleveland. is this the same Ferrari tour that goes through Pebble Beach at 2 pm on Saturday ending up on the lawn at Casa Ferrari? Or are you talking about a tour including multi-marques, cars that will be in the Pebble Beach concours, as formerly was the case in downtown Carmel on Tuesday?

SHARE A BOOTH ONE DAY DURING CAR WEEK AT MONTEREY
If you are a vintage race photographer, sculptor of automotive themes, car poster collector, model car collector, artist with automotive work, fledgling fashion designer with automotive-themed garments, car book collector
let me know if you want to share a booth during one of the days of Monterey Car week. I have a 10' x 10' tent but have to leave halfway through the day so you'd start out with a third of table space and end up with the whole booth. I'd give an attractive price. Send pictures of your work to mendoart7 at google's usual address
or text your email address to 213, then 344 then 6496

My post was in reference to the Pebble Beach Tour de Elegance which, prior to the pandemic, would drive from Pebble Beach down to Big Sur, returning to downtown Carmel where the cars would park on Ocean Ave for a couple hours while drivers had lunch in Devendorf Park, followed by their driving back to Pebble Beach. It was the best *free* way to see most of the Concours de Elegance vehicles in motion (as they entered town and as they left) and up close and personal while they were parked.

To clarify, the Tuesday event (held pre-2022) was Carmel Concours on the Ave. The Pebble Beach Tour de Elegance is held on Thurs, but no longer makes the stop in downtown Carmel.

There have been a lot of complaints about too many events taking over most of downtown Carmel during Car Week, especially after a bunch of idiots showed total disregard for the town by their irresponsible driving. A perfect example of a few bad apples ruining things for everybody else.

Two months later and they still have the wrong date.

On this official Ferrari page it is listing Pebble Beach activities it lists August14th as the date of the Ferrari tour and I thought it takes place the day before Pebble Beach Concours which is Aug. 21st, 2022. On the official Pebble Beach site, they list August 21st as the day of the Concorso Ferrari, a simultaneous event to the PB Concours about 100 feet away. So as of July 13th, the Ferrari website still needs to be corrected.
