I'm not the OP ...I'm not opening the classified for sale on this. Just responding to the OP's request to buy one. I don't think that rule applies here but it's not a big deal. The price offered is $2,600 shipped conus.
If you are looking for an orginial wheel the "Gritti" inscription was not on original wheels IIRC? I have a NOS black one minus the "Gritti" if you seek a black one? Grim
Thank you Skim, that is very kind, you might also make a sale out of it! By the way, the Gritti, the engraving looks like an engraving, the MOMO is stamped. I don't get it. Why is the wheel named a Place in Venice? Regards, Alberto Grim, I am interested, with horn ring? Regards, Alberto
I really don't know the history of Gritti Momo but I know they made very limited exclusive wheels for many of the Ferrari models. I forgot I had this wheel until I saw the wanted thread. I just may have to put it up for sale in the classified or just plaque it and make it wall art. Good luck to the OP.
The standard wheel was without any other branding but Momo. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met FerrariChat
Alberto, Momo supplied Ferrari with the OEM steering wheels used in the TR (Same wheel was used in Mondial QV series until Mondial T model). The original wheels supplied to Ferrari only had MOMO engraved not "Gritti". Momo called the wheel model "Gritti". So any wheel with Gritti engraved was not OEM to ferrari, although the same size, shape etc as original OEM wheel. Hope that makes sense? I have several new OEM wheels I may part with. If you are interested PM me. Thanks Grim
FWIW, if still needed, i also have an original testarossa wheel here, indeed without the gritti name on it. Can be sold with or without the original leather ring. BR
I also have a good used original 84 stamped Testarossa wheel… Let me know if interested… OP backed up finding another solution Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
