I just noticed that the inner insert on my 360 gas cap is lose and needs to be put in place before tightening the cap. I attempted to purchase a new one from Maranello Classic Parts and was informed that the gas cap is no longer available. Any suggestions….
    Thanks

Shows as available via Eurospares in the UK. They are great to work with (both price and service) for parts.

I just found a new one in stock from All Ferrari Parts in Ohio. Great price as well!
Maranello told me they were no longer available.

Generic Goop might eventually break down in gasoline but should last OK with just fuel vapor for awhile. SEAL ALL is the "Goop" that you need around fuel. It is made by the same company that makes Goop. Keep the Goop. You will be gluing all sorts of stuff back together with it as well as the Seal All.

I used Goop and repaired the cap in less than 5 minutes. Interestingly the new cap ( which I returned) did not come with the tether which my car has.
