    I think the cops are so scared these days they can’t react logically. They just seem to panic at the slightest event.

    Plus he had fied shots at thr police from his car before he jumped out and ran. Did he still have that gun? Maybe the police should have waited for him to shoot and kill a few of them before they shot him, just to make sure he was still armed. Remember it was dark at night.
