Came across these on Instagram, really nicely proportioned models in small scale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have several of these new type of high detail 1:64 models. They're pretty impressive. I have three different 250 GTO's made by two different company's plus a Jaguar E-Type coupe and a Singer Porsche 911. I'm happy with all of them. Now considering ordering one of the 250 SWB comp versions.
PGM, JEC, Make Up Titan, Pop Race & Co., HKM, Timothy & Pierre.....and there are maybe 1-2 others. But these are the ones you need.
There are so many 1/64 Ferrari cars out there from Hot Wheels to $100 ones. Many customizers and handmade, too. And don't even look at 1/64 dioramas. A very slippery slope to go down. They are incredible, but addictive. I stopped with the Kyosho Ferraris when they were $30, now some of them (and Tomica) are upwards of $300 each. And they are the mainstream ones, not even as detailed as posted here.
Yes, MY64 is one of the others, I didn't mention since pics were shown. There are others who also make, or rebrand the 1:64 250 SWB.... Hpi64 which are not as good at the MY64, but the Hpi models have engine detail. Overall the MY64 look the best. And there is also Top Model (TM).
I have dozens of these. The MY64 GTO models are incredibly detailed. Things like number and colour of wipers will vary from model to model. They are LHD and RHD depending on the source car. The JEC GTO models are cute, but nowhere near as detailed as the MY64 stuff. I've not acquired any of the MY64 SWBs yet because I already have half a dozen by TCM and many of them are duplicated. To be honest, I've slowed down / stopped collecting these because over the last 18 months or so the releases have really slowed down and shipping can take months instead of weeks. I'm waiting for collectors to realise how special the MY64s are and then I'm selling mine, I think. I will try and put some pictures up soon though, because seeing 9 or 10 of the GTOs really sells how much work they've put into them.
