Hey TR crew, Have any of you fitted aftermarket wheels or even wheels from another F car? Pics? Looking for advice on replacement size and off-sets, since I'm having trouble finding stock tires for my '89. Getting 16in performance tires is proving to be pain in the neck. If any of you have wheels + tires for sale let me know. Prefer local pick-up around the New England / New York area. Thanks
Find some 512tr wheels, you can't go wrong! 18" lots of options. When you sell car take them off and put old tire and wheels back on reselling the 512 wheels. That way you will recoup your investment.
I got mine from Kirk. I forget the brand name. Very happy with them. https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn=iconisusforged&_osacat=0&_armrs=1&_odkw=&_from=R40&_trksid=p2046732.m570.l1313&_nkw=testarossa&_sacat=0 Image Unavailable, Please Login
The horror. The horror. Try here for rubber: https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/testarossa/225-50yr16-pirelli-p-zero.html
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/pics-ferrari-360-wheels-on-my-91-testarossa.83357/ Note 360 18in Modular wheels also fit, with identical filament 355 wheels also fit but need spacers
Having looked at that pic, I actually like the 360 wheels on the TR. Thanks! Does anyone have any other pics of 360 starfish wheels on a TR? Looking at the specs I'm concerned the rears may stick out a little too much.
If someone is REALLY looking for different, I’ve got a set of Speedline custom Sawblades that were specially made for my car back in the late 80’s. They’ve been with the car all these years but I can’t imagine running them. They’re for a Monodado chassis car, and they’re stock 16” sizes for the 87-88 tires not TRX. I know these won’t work for you, maybe someone gets new Image Unavailable, Please Login ideas from these though? I’d consider selling if someone needed them for an early car and wanted period correct aftermarket. They’re ‘out there’ to say the least. Pro sports, rock musician or coke dealer would be my guesses on original owners Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
