He was asked about it, genius.

All teams except Mclaren and alfa moaned about weight.

Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull about budget.

No surprise the 3 top teams complain about lost privileges.

They are awash with cash, but not allowed to use it.

I guess the scenery would be quite different without the budget cap.

Porpoising would have been solved at Mercedes, Ferrari wouldn't have engine reliability problems, etc ...

The pinacle of motor racing has been emasculated .

I never said it is my business , Perez made it everyone's business when he felt compelled to justify himself . I couldn't care less one way or another.

    Fully agree
    Don't understand the huge gap between 450 millions/year and 140 now ?

That goes without saying . In this day and age where everybody has a camera , he was even more stupid to get himself in that position , anyone that is high profile is a target

I think it was a ploy by Liberty to maximize their profit at the teams' expense.

If the teams spend less, they will receive less at the end of the year.

Mind you, without any budget limit, I think a few teams would be doomed in the long run.

I suppose Liberty is paying the same percentage than before the budget cap. If not that would be a rip off, no team would accept that.

The doomed are not competitive and get in the way and look nice on camera as the DRS opens for the top teams to pass them. Such drama - contrived.

The pinnacle has fallen this year with failure to enhance close competition. We have 1 team that is strong, 1 that is fast and utterly unable to win consistently via issues or strategy and one bouncing down the straights in search of a solution and failing each week as P3. We have a non developmental budget cap that is now useless in face of non predicted 8-10% inflation/ fuel and shipping costs etc etc.

Hey are going to Africa next year lol!! :) F1. A show...................

Yes, I was thinking about that; it's rather long coming.

We don't hear about Audi now.

    Well done Red Bull !

That's the kind of design other teams should try to emulate.

Simply raising the ride height is not the solution.

Another promising career ruined by a big mouth.

Who can Juri Vips turn to after being dropped by Red Bull ?

Self induced. Even the other players KNEW the language was stupid. After F1 had We race as 1 - Vips does this. He is blind or very ignorant of the racing world he WAS in. No sympathy. He will be quickly replaced. He probably will race again at some point. Just not in any F series.

    When will people learn that* everything is always being recorded and video taped;
and that you will pay the consequences if you do not filter the thought running through your mind before it gets to your lips.

    (*) unlike 1960.....

Yes, we live in an unforgiving world. This pushes people to become hypocritical and learn to hide their thoughts.
