    Backlight on the yellow rev counter is special - nothing wrong. If you had a black all the light you want, but not on the yellow.

    Other users have posted the 'problem' before, read this answer or this thread

    I don't have the yellow tacho, but people seem to have 'issues' with the lighting that are not reported with the black ones.

    If it is behaving differently, then it may be one of the led strips behind that is the issue as explained here

    Tried everything I could but seems not working (obviously I don't have the gut to take the entire dashboard off...), maybe will send to the dealer... thanks for your reply

    My 2013 has the exact same issue. Yellow Tach with numbers not illuminating. Horse and inner ring still light up and gear indicator functions.
    Taking it to the dealer this week.

    Mine had the same issue. Had to be sent off to fix.

    Dealer Technician is looking at issue today. Will report back once they have resolution and what the recommended fix was.

    Dealer is saying they have to ship the entire cluster assembly to a repair shop in California to have them repair the unit. Will be out for 1-2 weeks.

    FAI replaced ribbon light and power supply for the ribbon light. Back in car and working beautifully now.
    Dealer covered the cost. I believe it was $800 for the repair.
