Amazing
Looks like vin#133023 painted in Bianco Avus is coming up to auction. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/we22/the-white-enzo/lots/r0001-2003-ferrari-enzo
I wonder what the rationale is behind not including this car in the Monterey sale. Seller needing funds sooner than August? RM looking to take back its online sale record from BaT after their LaFerrari Aperta sale? RM trying to drive a new single-car auction initiative? This is their 4th one of 2022 already (Fangio 300SL, Aventador Ultimae, 300 SLR). They dipped their toe into this concept in 2019 but have been selling some serious cars this way this year.
I had a similar thought, but I can see being an unfederalized Euro spec car discouraging US buyers in Monterrey, so maybe RM chose not to wait if there wasn't a likely payoff. Rumour has it that RM themselves own the car, so minimizing their hold time may have factored in also.
Indeed, this Enzo has been offered to multiple people over the past few years who I believe missed a nice opportunity, the good news is it's available again. Ergo the no reserve?
Just daydreaming aloud here, but if RM is able to source the following information... ...and we also have (apparently) authoritative production numbers on several standard colors like Giallo Modena, Grigio Titanio, Nero, etc...does that mean that the mystery (to most) of exactly how many Enzos were produced lies entirely, or almost entirely, within the 'Rosso Corsa' count? True. If true, that would explain the car being sold from Canada, despite having European documents.
my thinking is that canada has a 15 year old import rule and hence they brought there and maybe a prospective buyer based in us wouldnt mind storing the car their while they figure out the logistics regarding importing/federalization into us

@Marcel Massini do you know if this car could have been in Japan around 2009? A friend just provided pic of a white one in Tokyo. Additionally, is it correct that it's the only factory white car? Are there any Enzos repainted to Bianco Avus that you know of?
The car in Tokyo is another Enzo, said by a colleague to be pearl (metallic) white, no idea if that's it's original color. Image Unavailable, Please Login
More recently it has gained some silver graphics... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car in question, 133023, went from Germany to Hong Kong in 2011. It looks to me like the RM photoshoot was done in Hong Kong, maybe it is enroute to Canada?
