Not great, not terrible. In normal conditions this could be a Verstappen parade but with drivers out of position and high probability of safety cars, it can be a wacky race.
Well, I don't think there's any doubt that Max will dominate. What will be interesting to watch is how quickly Checo and Chuck can carve their way through the field.
Didn’t watch, saw results and just came here to read @jpalmito and @furoni trashing Sainz, LOL. But seriously, if he was up on Max and wasted the chance to beat him and maybe steal points from him, I’m not impressed but not surprised. Don’t know what he’ll do in the race but not counting on him beating Max, especially if he loses time behind Alonso.
Perez hasn't been convincing this weekend...like at all. I even worry a bit that Lec might get stuck behind Checo's slower pace tomorrow at some point. I usually prefer straighforward races, but this time fingers crossed for those safety cars to help Charles.
Image Unavailable, Please Login @furoni It's pirro as steward. What's the odds he gets a penalty? Ridiculous as both got through, should be a reprimand....
Canada standard DWI --- Driving While Italian. How many of the penalties they threw at Carlos will he get hit with? "Driving too slowly"? In THOSE conditions???? Ferrari always seems to get penalties in Canada. Not as many red flags as I expected. Although they took their time with the one they had.
I guess Perez had to walk back outside the track because there is a safety rule that you can’t walk on the track? Just a guess. Way to go Haas, something tells me they need orders to not fight each other. Great to hear ALO tell JV he’s going for it on the first corner! I bet he pulls it off, but VER still wins the race.
I support the winning team of the moment, not any team in particular. If Max and Red Bull win again this year, I will start to be impressed.
I though I explained all this already. William is a fan of the sport, not a fan of any team. That makes him appear as a front-runner (or fair weather fan).
That would be a turn up for the books: his last GP win was 9 years ago, I believe. I said that Alonso would never win a GP again when he left Ferrari, so I hope he won't do it tomorrow.
Max for the win. Russell on podium. Carlos or Charles on podium. Yes, I think Charles can catch up to Carlos. Perez 5th. Alonso pips Hammy.
It was an interesting qualifying. I really thought CS had it. It's amazing to see these cars work in that much rain. Here are a couple poor pictures. Have Checko's marks into the barrier. Charles in his pit and MV aircraft. I got to taxi right up and park close.
I enjoy William’s injection of logic and common sense into what is too often tribal sports fan talk that puts the team of choice’s success above logic and common sense in the name of fan passion. There's a famous comedy routine about this - "It's different guys from year to year," Jerry Seinfeld observed. "You're rooting for clothes, when you get right down to it. We're screaming about laundry." Athletes change teams, put on a different drivers uniform and become a hero or villain to real sports fans who’s true alegence is to laundry.
