For what it’s worth, I bid on this one until ~$415k and would have paid every penny for the unique spec (I happen to not love Rosso Corsa). Ultimately lost, but certainly would have completed the deal. Something to remember is there were only 408 US versions. It is a rarity.

a usa version of the 512tr has absolutely zero benefits over a ROW model.
and, i would argue that those stupid mouse belts are a significant detriment to the usa spec vs ROW.
so the 408 number is an irrelevance imo.

Advantages of USA 512TR: Easier to order parts from USA, no registration issues (California only), no explanations needed
Advantage of ROW 512TR: Lighter bumpers, smaller side-market indicators, no pre-cats, more aggressive tune, no mouse-belts, higher parts availability, more late-spec cars.

I bought a ROW spec, but to each their own.

I bet it's single digits at most. No clue in reality and car:car variance is probably higher.

I don’t know the car specifically but I thought it presented well from the pics and the description… Maybe they will get a deal done after the fact… For somebody who wants a clean car I could easily see paying another 30 to 40 grand for it if not a little bit more

It did look nice, though red is not really my thing, much prefer the black/tan one last week if I had to choose from recent BaT listings. Certainly not the awful red dash one that went for insane money!

I do think today's was in the right ballpark, if you throw out the $430k and $570k ones as outliers and consider the remaining sales on BaT this year.

From what I can see the sale price on BAT for a regular red solid, clean but not exceptional, clear carfax 20-40k mile car seems to be $115k-120k and not much more. Is that in line with where you think the market is?
