In the capital markets presentations Ferrari stated the engines to get hybrid are V6 and V8. They did not say so for V12. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
that was interesting indeed, wonder whether that means that ultimately the V12 will get dropped, although technically V12 was the first hybrid that Ferrari built
Hopefully they’ll copy Aston Martin again. Only this time do a better job on the grill and use round tail lights instead of those goofy ones they decided to use. But I’m sure your wife is beautiful too. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The development is following its course, and believe me, this time it will be the last before moving on... The new management wanted to stop the project, but it was already far too advanced... It is really a beautiful car to put the end point !
So, is that to mean a coupe, then a spider, then a special series, then a special series aperta? That would seem to be a rather large commitment from management that was ready to stop the project. Maybe it will simply be one model instead of the entire multi-model commitment?
Glad to hear there was already enough progress and investment to continue with the v12. Now the only remaining wish is that us mere mortals would be able to get an allocation of it …
This is fantastic news, maybe you have already mentioned it but when is it supposed to be introduced. I ask because at the 296gts debut party I mentioned to the guys at my dealer I want to be put on the list for the car and they said we are way far away they didn't really want to talk about it, although I keep grilling them and they said as soon as we hear you will be on it.
From Jan 17 He then went on a few months later to say that the powerplant was a bit "more complicated" but not sure if he further explained that statement
I can't add anything more out of respect for those who work hard for us to enjoy. It is a very beautiful car that you will have to see on the street, in motion, simple and modern at the same time, with a clear reference to the past at the front. The most beautiful since the F 12, that's for sure ! I hope you like the interior of the PS...
Damn. Digital interior in the last of the classic V12s. Looks like I’ll be keeping my 812GTS forever then.
As for 900hp- I’ll take it if they lighten the car up to compensate for its wholly inadequate engine output. If they go hybrid and get it to 1000hp Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
If it actually makes it to the reveal I expect it will have a "curated price" as high as the SF90 or more...and super limited. According to this chart: It will not be hybrid, curious how that chart has no arrow for V12 Iconic Engines, just a terminus 'circle' and the keyword "Iconic", could the F167 morph into an Icona model??
IMO anyone who says he is on public roads....is either a psycho who should be in jail, or lying. Or have no clue what the real potential of the car is.
True - Sorry I meant to say is the ratio towards the rear increasing more that the current ratio ? Especially since the battery will probably be located towards the back of the car
During the presentation and Q&A they referred to the V12 engine in the PS as iconic so I think you're reading too much into it. 812 replacement won't be an Icona model. Sent from my LG-G710 using Tapatalk
