I am having PPF fitted to the 201TDF blue F12 that I bought Ferrari Approved Used earlier in the year. Unfortunately the detailer found corrosion on the door and rear section. The supplying dealer admitted that it had been missed by them and have allowed me to get it repainted at a paint shop of my choosing at their expense. However as the detailer likes to leave a month between paint and the application of PPF my F12 remains a stranger to me. To pass the time I have been doing a bit of TDF blue F12 painting of my own.
Yes it is. Quality looks OK. Its about 45 years since I last made a plastic model kit, lets see how it goes !
Yes the PPF guys want to let the paint "degazing" at least 3 weeks after respray. For this reason as well my F12 is out for a few weeks, no rust but they resprayed the under of the front bumper which was a bit scratched. I miss her! (Paint correction+Xpell Ultimate+ceramic coating)

Saw a dark grey and a dark blue F12 in our first few days in England. Grey in Kensington Sunday morning across from HR Owen lambo. Blue was coming towards London yesterday on the A4. Black Lusso a few mins later in the same direction. Image Unavailable, Please Login surprising number of Ferraris here. 488 today in Bibury. Yellow Cali T in Notting Hill, red 812 in Kensington Sunday. Four V12 Ferraris in two days?! Four Urus in London and two Huracans, and no McLarens seen so far, which is interesting since in Vegas I see Huracans alone probably 2x as often as Ferraris.
Went to "Le Mans Classic" event and had the opportunity to see my F12 in the Xpell process, can't wait to recover her! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep, London is great for Ferrari spotting. I even think you could do much better... Spend a full weekend afternoon around Mayfair, Knightsbridge, that should result in dozens of Ferraris in just a few hours.
One aspect of that I don’t understand is that the top 1% income in the UK is about 35% less than the USA, last time I checked. And yet there is so much wealth and extremely high property pricing (even outside London)… is it the foreign-earned money that isn’t taxed in the UK bringing all of this? Generational wealth that isn’t reported as “income?”
No, london is just a hotspot and where the real money is. Just like being in LA/Miami where you can't walk 10 feet without falling over another Ferrari/Lambo. The Non-Doms is really quite a small amount of people.
