    I tried to put a #2 pencil to fill the gap, then a small ruler but both just got in the way. I eyeballed it and it turned out great. It’s essentially the same length as the Ferrari logo so I guess I used the edge of my thumbs to equalize the gap. Haven’t put a micrometer or level on it but looks perfect to me.

    Both times I used a pencil as the gap measure. As you say it’s same width as Ferrari badge so easy to align

    I questioned the quality and they immediately issued a call tag. I only wanted to know if I got a defective flag. They seem to think that this is the quality level we all got. Not sure how to react to that.

    You sure ? Look at the red section at the end. If I'm not mistaken I can see some scratches.

    We’ll now you got me paranoid MANDALAY! Just went out to the garage and mine looks good close up. If I take a close up pic it appears to have some ‘defects’ but it may be reflecting the light weirdly. Certainly nothing like what he received.

    Probably the same thing is happening with his picture as it pretty close up ?

    Maybe they are all that way ? Softness in the material used.

    MyRicambi will replace the faulty part. Their customer support is impeccable. I had a problem with some carbon engine bits and they went completely above and beyond to get me squared away.
