Well, no provocation whatsoever from my part, but...if we accept (as you said a few posts before) that any Formula One driver has a big ego, and think of himself as the best...(and I do think that Fernado might have a big ego, and rightly so)
Why should he be doing this? Money, perhaps? The occasional win, thanks to circumstances?
If my memory serves me well, his last win was in 2012; winning again in 2022 would make an interesting statistic.
I guess (??) that the driver with the longest interval between two wins is Riccardo Patrese?

Fact is he has nothing to prove.
Everyone knows he’s a wonderful driver.
No more ego problem for him, just be there and enjoy a Formula One car.
After seeing him driving this dog of a car F2012 I understood what kind of driver he was.

As a german-speaking French born three miles form the France-Germany border, AND having cousins named...Schumacher.
Of course, Schumacher comes from the trade of cobbling, BUT in modern German, only the spelling Schuhmacher ( Schuh-macher, with three "h") is still considered having a direct reference to cobbling...
