Yeah. I've just been using a damp micro fiber towel to wipe the dust off my interior. Wasn't sure if there was a product that people were using.

My advice is to get not only UV tint, but IR (heat) regjecting Tint on the windows including the windshiled. For the windshield, you can get tint that looks almost clear but rejects 98% of the IR (every tint rejects 99% UV so dont get fooled by the sale pitch on that)

No product will really protect that well from the sun, so this is why the tint is so importnat.

I feel the latest and greatest tint is Xpel Prim XR and that is what I have installed. There have been many advances since 3M Crystaline and Huper Optic Ceramic were developed (and once the lead tints)

PERL is good because its good for rubber, leather and vinyl depending on the dilution levels

    For the leather regular/monthly https://www.duragloss.com/product/duragloss-lc-leather-conditioner/

And every couple of years leatherique http://leatherique.org/detail.aspx?ID=35

Any particular procedure for the F8 Tributo lexan engine cover?
I am worried about all the water in the engine compartment and scratching the lexan when washing or drying.
    Dealer laughs, “just use water”.
    Enjoy your posts, thanks

I would not worry about the water. I would worry about scratches.

Foam. Rinse, then contact wash with a fresh clean mit. I keep 5 mitts in a soapy bucket. Toss used in another bucket

Scratches are caused by dirt trapped between your surface and the towel you use and using abrasive towels.
Pre-rinsing is a must and always use microfiber. Also make sure your wash bucket has one of those screens at the bottom of the bucket so your wash mitt/towel doesn’t contact settled dirt.
That should do it for you.

Did no one else get ceramic treatment for your interior?
My detailer used ceramic for the interior and exterior. I simply wipe down my seats and interior with a moistened microfiber cloth. Looks and works great

Thanks for your tips! The Reset car wash is the best I’ve used! It leaves no residue and and really washes well.

Mitts and soap are cheap. Scratches are expensive

I highly suggest having 4 mits or so and not worrying about the grit guard in the bottom of the bucket and never contaminating your soap water. Work to down. Make sure the first mitt used is on the lexan and work down

I also had the interior treated and use a moist microfiber with great results thus far.
