In Italy (Varano) last week - apparently this car was just delivered from the factory (I guess after certification) to a French customer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does anyone have any additional info on the car below? Any interesting details/history? To my knowledge the car was delivered new to Italy, spent time in Japan and is now up for sale in Switzerland. https://www.classicdriver.com/de/car/ferrari/f40/1990/917821 Thanks
The tires on the F40 at the time of the crash were 12 years old. Original owner, drove himself, with wife as passenger (she was slightly hurt on her eye). Marcel Massini
Thanks Marcel. Kessel told me the car was first delivered to Italy and now they say it's Germany... Not sure what to make of that to be honest... With that said, I definitely trust your knowledge and experience, so it must be Saudi Arabian or it's another F40 with a double VIN... Who knows!
Suggest to be a bit more critical, generally. And once again, do the homework. Always the same story........ First owner was Abdul Aziz M. Kaki Samir in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. That was in September 1990, a kool 32 years ago. I have written proof for this. Marcel Massini
The stunning 3,300-mile F40 we've just sold that sits at Ferrari of Newport Beach undergoing a full service, new fuel tanks included, a more beautifully preserved original F40 I cannot recall seeing in person in recent times. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe or Marcel, do you know the story behind David Lee's recently-purchased yellow F40? As in, how long it's been yellow and how good of a job it is? I am curious to see how he's going to approach procuring a yellow 288 GTO.

He’s been working on one…. No doubt, he will have the big 5 in both red and yellow soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
