I wanted to blast him before but opted not to. But that doesn't mean that somebody else cannot do it instead. The guy ABSOLUTELY deserves it!

This is the same false argument some people will use with the Diablo. The later Diablos have always been more valuable because of the rarity of the later models combined with the fact that they are much better cars. And that won’t change.

Evidently you know nothing about design.

My point is the market doesn't dictate what is more beautiful.

F512M is far closer to the late 512TR then people realize (Mechanically).

They share the same late variant suspension, ABS brakes, Differential, etc.

The only non cosmetic change was the Ti rods as far as I can see vs the late TR.

Basically the ‘feel’ is much closer then most realize.

    Agree with the Diablos.

I’d compare the Testarossa with the Countach more though.

Anyway we will see in time. Let’s hope they all go up.

how the **** do you know whether i know something about design or not??

you like the first gen tr. great. have at it. i dont care.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

meanwhile, the rest of the world has voted with their wallets, and the 512tr design is more valued.
    that is just the truth.

    Agreed. Beauty is intrinsically subjective.

The major gripe about the 512TR is the revised front bumper and it’s lack of continuity with the upper line of the side strakes.

However, it’s clearly still there as you can see, just not as overt.

Also, the same critics fail to appreciate how well the fog lights balance the front and work with the lines of the headlights without looking overly busy on an already very complex design.

Ultimately it’s important to stress, we are arguing about something 99.9% of people can’t distinguish!

With all due respect, the Countach model doesn’t fit, as the early cars are very rare, while the later cars are better cars but much more plentiful. They built the Countach for 17 years and half of the 2,000 ever built were built in the last 4 model years.

Comparing that to what I understand about the Testarossa series, wasn’t the 512TR + M produced in 1/3 the numbers that the regular Testsrossa was? And they are better cars?

Assuming what I wrote about the Testarossa series is correct (my knowledge is limited because I’ve had no previous interest to buy one), the Diablo series is a really good fit and the Countach is not.

And if so, after 25 years of the market being the market, there is no way the more plentiful, less advanced Testarossa will suddenly overtake the 512/M.

You guys noticed "this car has been stored for some years and will require servicing before returning to the road."

Don't CH cars have extra pollution equipment?

I just didn't like the lower rocker panels painted body color. It makes the car look "chubby". And it's not like the Testarossa was a small car to begin with. ;)

That's why I believe the 512 TR looks best in nero.

I like the brakes and don’t mind the wheels (better then most aftermarket setups). I personally would not consider either a negative ASSUMING the original brakes/wheels were also included. I also rather like black on Testarossas. I also need to hear the exhaust in person before I can make final judgment. They always sound great in videos but I don’t know what the day to day is like. Nor do I know how much it tends to (or not to) drone.

… however… there is a long list of other issues that would make me personally avoid that car.
