    I saw the 296 spider and drove the GTB last night. I have to say I thought it was little “meh” in the looks and even the drive. Owning several EVs that are crazy fast (current 2022 Taycan turbo S) it’s really hard for most ICE or hybrids to compare from a speed and Instant torque standpoint. For me it’s all about the looks and feel that make an exotic and exotic. While the sound WAS great I can’t help stop thinking the 296 looks like the old tesla roadster built from a lotus. I don’t know why, but I’m sure happy I have an incoming F8 to scratch that itch.

    Yep. I saw it last week too. VERY meh. SF90 does nothing for me either.

    Took delivery of my F8 spider Tuesday, and of course it rained. Wasn’t going to stop me from driving, but it sure left the Bianco Cervino paint looking more like avorio. Had to clean it up a bit!

    After going to my dealers 296 presentation I agree for the most part. While I love the refreshingly clean design (and heritage to the jaw dropping 250LM), IMO it lacks a bit of that "wow" factor and Italian exoticness you initially feel when you see a 458/488/F8 passing by or in the parking lot. Was wondering to myself it it's because it appears more compact, or the headlights might have left me wanting a bit more...

    Ferrari has always had a smooth yet exotic look, especially on the mid engine cars compared to other exotic mid engine cars. The 296 looks a lot more smooth elegant and less aggressive sort of watered down than previous Ferrari’s . Thus I’m not interest in a 296. Then I saw some testing videos and photos of the 296 gt3 race car and it looks really great, a lot more exotic performance in style.
