    Hi there,
What retains the new bushing in place?

I know this an old thread but does anyone know:
1, The part number of a Right Hand steering rack for a 93 build 348 TS; and
    2. Whether it is possible to purchase the steering bushing?

    Thanks

The bushing specs are listed in the thread somewhere. You could have one machined at a machine shop.

Thanks. That looks like the best (and probably only) option

    Definitely your only option Arty!

I had to machine one up to suit my 348 back in 2016.

Was a very easy job in the end and the specs on that bush there look about right.

I didn't take any pics of the newly machine bush or pics of it refitted sorry lol.

But it went back together well and it's still spot on now.

I've finally managed to get the car raised and ready to remove the rack. I've split the tie rod ends and am ready to go with the removal following the excellent advice from group members, but would appreciate some advice on how to remove the front undertray without damaging any connectors.

You don't need to remove the rack to replace the bush Arthur.

Or are you removing the rack to send away for repair?
