Don’t hear much about that over here. Did you do any vids on how it sounds now? Thanks in advance!

I'd like to change it cause the sound is not as goos as I wished.
But not doing it for warranty issue.

    Hi Guys,
As everyone here, I could not live with my F8 stock exhaust. Thus, I installed Novitec exhaust with regulator valve. Of course the sounds improved much with some popping. Again, I got disappointed as I thought I will have similar exhaust sounds and popping as my stock Lamborghini evo. I love my F8 more than evo, that's why I'm feeling sad with *quite exhust*. I heard how novitec cat delete will sound like crazy and a lot of popping, but I don't want to have smells and cause any trouble to the car by deleting cat completely. Now the option I'm leaning to is Novitec sport cat (100 cell I think). Novitec informed the sound will be little bit less than novitec cat delete and much improvement in terms of smell. Can anyone confirm and provide his experience with Novitec sport cat or any sport cat in general. Is it worth it in terms of sounds????

I installed Novitec exhaust and I was excited to go further with catless Novitec.now my dealer shocked me that if I go with deleting cat, I will lose warranty. I live in Dubai where the government rules allow to run cars without cat ,but I will lose warranty!!!
    That's really sucks now

I would like to wake the stock F8 exhaust up a bit. On my prior 488, I plugged the valves and enjoyed it. I understand the F8 valves work differently and can not simply be unplugged. Is it possible to leave the valve mechanism in place and cut the flaps off? Photo of the valve open and closed attached.

I believe the differential pressure is measured, not valve position. So, cutting the flaps off may not work?

After many searching, the only option to make F8 sounds as a real super car is to delete cat convertor, period. This will require further tuning to adjust fuel and other things which will make the F8 more aggressive and more powerful. The only thing is not making me to go with that option is warranty issues. Unfortunately, warranty will be waived and that's will be a huge risk if any thing wrong went with the engine.

FWIW , I have the Forzza valve opener installed on my F8S and I’ve had 2-3 check engine lights come up over the last 9 months only to disappear after closing the valves. The sound by the way is only marginally better nothing at all like the 488 .
I also had my valves pinned open on my 488s which sounded great. Basically we are F-Ed if we want a warranty. You would think someone could up with something that works. It’s sad this is the best Ferrari could do with this car. Best , Kirk

I've not heard of anyone trying that yet. Maybe someone can chime in.

I have the center muffler delete pipe on my 2021 F8 and its a recommended upgrade if keeping things stock. I have a Kline w Techtronic sitting in my garage will most likely install after warranty expires.

Hey everyone, I’m getting a novitec catback valved exhaust put on this week (without techtronic plug in). A couple of mechanics claim I won’t get a CEL but I’m skeptical. Anyone have any experience with installing only a catback exhaust on the f8 and CEL? I didn’t get the techtronic because I’ve been told that it just masks the CEL; ie. the car will still record the faults somewhere on it’s computer. Let’s see how it goes! (Like others have mentioned I didn’t want to install Downpipes because that will 100% require a tune and will 100% void any engine and transmission warranty).

All catback exhausts that I’m aware of (including all Novitec exhausts) also remove the GPFs, you will definitely get CELs. You must use the Novitec Techtronic plug in.

You will 100% get a CEL with the rear silencer only, the Tectronic clears the GPF codes before the light shows up so nothing to record.

Don't install decat pipes, get the sport cats if you want to do downpipes - not tune required, Tectronic also deletes cat inefficiency errors.

Some are saying things about warranty invalidation, there is no hard and fast rule - it depends on your country firstly, but really it's down to dealer preference - they have final say.

Dealerships have no say whatsoever on warranty issues. Never have. Never will.

It can’t they make an issue when they decide to extend your warranty. They do an inspection then tell you if you are eligible. They gave me a hard time about my device that keeps my exhaust valves open all the time. Haven’t applied for the warranty yet

Not sure what you mean here. All F8 are currently under manufacturer warranty as far as I know.

I wasn't really referring to F8's and the factory warranty. I was referring to when the time comes to extend that warranty.
