+1 They learn that in karting/formula 4. Cold tyres/heavy car doesn't make your car capable of magic. Even in sim racing we're capable of understanding it.

 

Going by the latest motorsport survey (the largest there is) Max was more popular than Lewis in racing circles.

 

Yeah and look where popularity has got us ...

Obviously true.

Last year, Max was in the lead. His ONLY responsibility was to leave enough room at apex for an alongside driver ... which he clearly did.

It would be easy to say that Hamilton believes he's "entitled" to any racing line he wants, no matter who else is ahead of him. This much is certainly true. But the situation is in fact far worse Hamilton fully believes he's entitled to bounce-off another driver, to even make the turn at all ... just look at Hamilton's steering input and trajectory last year, at Copse, for proof.

And now, Hamilton continues to double-down on his "entitled" and dangerous driving? The man is an absolute disgrace to the sport.

So, you just didn't read the entire thing and since we still have a long way to go in 2022...

 

Just semantics, so if he quits F1 before the end of this season the statement is still correct?

 

Last time I looked, Hamilton got a penalty for the max incident, ergo, he was held responsible.

 

can we just END THIS DISCUSSION and require all F-chatters to include in their name if they like HAM or VER more?

Ver left Ham room. His angle of attack was still to extreme for Hams path of trajectory.

Merc this close up front is nothing but yip yap from the lulu and rainbows on tv. It’s sick. As is he. This guy really wrecked F1 for a lot of people rather the usual saviors of the lulu want to believe it or not. Counting the days he disappeares.

 

Becuase Max could have bailed.
Two options for him:

Bail and stay in the race.

Or continue and crash.

We know what option he chose.

Didn't Max get the memo ... that he has no business turning toward an apex, even if he is ahead, if Sir Lewis the Great plans to straight-line the turn and avoid the apex altogether?

And now Max is pretending not to know that he's supposed to check-in with Sir Lewis to see what his plans are, for each and every turn during the race ... geez

 

There are dozens of people every day that obey all traffic laws and still get killed.

If you have to miss an apex to stay in a race and not lose 25+ points maybe miss that apex. Ham has done it numerous times. Choose your battles.

 

1 year on and the same argument of the same people not comprehending basic racing rules.

 

Not a good idea when u have a car up the inside though.... Lewis missed the apex by a few yards, max missed a whole corner by about 2 football pitches... Good to know he has since learned too..

 

Yeah well Max is on his way to his second WDC and Sir Loo is shoveling sh*t at Mercedes.
