2021 spotter's Thread

I will be out and about, but not this weekend. I like the cooler sunny days.

 

Saw a silver 250 GT PF cab in Meredith, NH yesterday around 645pm, making its way through traffic. That was a treat; having been a Ferrari nut since the early 80s I've never seen a 250 anything that wasn't at a concours or other event.

 

Red/tan 360 spider on NH plates, top down, just off exit 23 in New Hampton, NH, heading towards Meredith today at noon.

 

Silver 550/575 maranello in Wenham / Hamilton line sat 24th. I didn't get a great look at it as it was crossing paths with my 612 but sure sounded good.

Saw a Blue FF parked outside in Winnegance Maine all last week. Only F car I have seen this summer besides mine sitting in my garage. (weather has been beyond terrible)

 

John, the rain won't melt it, it's just that afterwards you have to clean it!

 

Yeah, I know. But when I talk about crappy weather, I mean weather I wouldn't want to drive anything in much less a sportscar. If it's not downpouring, then its hot and humid and with you guessed it--more rain. I prefer those nice September/October sunny days with zero humidity.

 

Saw another FF yesterday heading east in the town of Florida MA, this one was red with NY plates. That's 2 for me this summer, setting a record here!

 

Saw a white cali or portofino following a white lambo headed north on 95 near the NH/Maine border yesterday. Gotta be a personal record for the most fcars seen in one year.

 

1964-65 Black Ferrari 250L. Out for some exercise from Paul Russel Co. Saturday. It's for sale.

Saw a light blue FF Saturday afternoon on RT 2 headed west in Greenfield Mass.

 

That must have been me! Grigio Titanio, but it can appear light blue. We were heading to Shelburne Falls to walk around and have dinner at the Blue Rock.

Funny, I was coming here to post when we were on Rte 2 at the Devens entrance a black 458 came behind us and stayed there until he exited in Leominster.

 

How was your dinner at the Blue Rock? I've never been there.

 

Fabulous, great food and excellent service. We used to go to the West End Pub and when this place opened we tried it and liked it.

I think that's splendid! out going tide with a little sea breeze, that looks like the bomb.

 

Oh, it "looks" awesome w Madaket harbour in back ground, but this is a tiny island w a max speed of 45, undulating/bottom out cobble stone streets, narrow sandy lanes, single lane (w high center) sand roads and a saline rich wind. And, the ferry/freight boat ride to/fro is a door ding mecca.

There's a reason Old Rovers, LandCruisers, Broncos, Subarus, etc are the defacto get around vehicles

Whoever it is - would be very surprised if he/she brings the Dino back.

 

I see. Not a very hospitable location for long term dwelling of vehicles. Well if (or when) Dino makes it back to the mainland, she should get a good wash!
