One might say it was a famous firearm from the original Jurassic Park movie too. All the best, Andrew.
Hi everybody: I'm Italian and I don't own a firearm. I like guns, but I don't want to own one. Recently I visited a big gunshop here in Italy, due to working reasons. The owner showed me his very nice shop and I immediately recognized the very famous Barrett M82A1 rifle: I didn't know it was legal here in Italy. The shop owner told me that it was the new .416 caliber version, who is the biggest legal caliber here in Italy. I asked to touch it as I was very curious: the shop owner took the gun out of the display cabinet and put it in my hands... Jesus, how heavy it is! And this with the magazine empty and no scope! I think that with ten rounds in the magazine and a big scope its weight is something impossible to carry: you need a trailer! Congrats to everyone who can carry that cannon! ciao
Ciao Albert, The Barrett is practical as an anti-material rifle. It's not an item you are going to hump around the woods. Take a look at Victrix rifles. Made in Italia. https://www.victrixarmaments.com/en/professional/gladio/gladio-v/
Not likely. AFAIK, there are no AR15 lowers that will work with an AR10 upper. I assume your "multi" marked lower is AR15.
Thank you: I didn't know anything about this Gladio. This Gadio is a common .308 caliber sniper rifle and weigths less than the half of Barrett M82, but as hunting rifle is useless as it's a bolt action. In the hog hunt (the biggest animal you can hunt here in Italy) hunters here have a Browning BAR .308 or something like that. With a sniper rifle, maybe the hog will kill you if the first shot is not full on target...
All my lowers (AR10 and AR15) style ared marked Multi-caliber except for the actual Govt builds I have. Check the following dimensions and it will be close If the distance between the takedown/pivot pins is approx. 6 3/8" on centers, it's the smaller AR15. Also, inside length is on the magwell on the AR15 is 2 1/2"
Those are a lot of fun . Crazy high cyclic rate. One can empty a 30 round mag before the first shell case hits the ground .
My first C3 experience was with a M11/9 (9mm conversion) and old-school suppressor (it used wipes). Sounded like a Singer sewing machine. I was hooked.
