    While driving my 6000 mile gated Modena earlier today I noticed a ticking sound that I have always assumed was the electric fuel pump. Is my assumption likely correct. Car runs perfectly.

    I hear a ticking sound in my car too, and it also runs perfectly. I assumed it was the air injection system.

    Where do you hear the ticking sound. I think my ticking sound is coming from the right side of the car-perhaps in the front part of the car.

    Steelman Chassis Ear is even better if chasing down chassis noises.

    This sound is clearly an electric fuel pump or some other electrically driven piece. At some point I will investigate further.

    Check headers/manifolds. my past ticketing issues is a crack there. this has been to be known as a common problem on 430. not sure on 360

    Years ago I owned E-Type Jaguars which had electric fuel pumps. The electric pumps had a regular ticking sound every 10 seconds or so. This really has that type of sound. I will investigate this more carefully when I use the car in the next few weeks.
