    No you are not. All modern Ferraris polarize opinion. This is no exception

    I hated the LaF when it came out. I thought it lacked balance, the front was too dainty and the rear was too bulky. I hadn’t seen it live though and my opinion changed when I saw the car and had the opportunity to examine the detail closely. Today I think the shape has aged incredibly well

    This is why I am suggesting that people see the car live before they decide if it is a bad design or not
    Of course there are plenty of people that still think the LaF is ugly!

    Remember when car magazines in the 90s would have a couple pages of “concept cars” that looked crazy and half cartoonish. I guess one of those finally made it to production. I swear I saw this car in one of those sections around 98.

    I actually did that 4-5 years ago with The 812SF. Photos thru the press, I did NOT like it. Once I saw it, different story. LOVE IT!

    The shapes and geometries of some of these cars are so complex that they not only aren’t captured by film, arguable they are distorted. Seeing in real life is the only way to truly experience it.

    and I am totally in love with the SP3, much more than with the SP1 or SP2. So to each his own.

    I have seen the car now several times in real life and she is gorgeous.

    As wild as the rear is, I can live with it because it's a reference to a past design in modern form. The front, not so much.

    It's like one of those optical illusion drawings. Once the illusion is revealed, you can't unsee it.
