Your start and end time points are wrong
Your calculation of the number of years the 812 SF produced is wrong
You didn’t account for slow downs and delays caused by Covid and microchip shortages
    And lastly and more importantly…
Everything you said flies in direct conflict with what Ferrari has communicated…

    Hmmm...
First deliveries of 812 SF end of 2017 last deliveries (except 3 cars) summer 2020 (<3years)
First deliveries of 812 GTS beginning of 2020 and they will continue until mid 2023 (>3years)
The 1000 less cars produced in 2020 they caught up in 2021 with mor than 11.000
and what Ferrari communicate is definitely the last thing you can rely on...

Except their Annual Reports, they do separately break out total V12 production and that can give you an idea of what happened since we "know" certain products (812C/812CA, SP3, end of SP1/SP2,etc), at, from memory, I believe 2021 V12 production was under 1700 which is quite low (maximum being about 2200) so 812GTS production could end of being less than 5000+ total 812SF production...

I just saw my VIN for my TM GTS for the first time. Does that signify the start of anything?

I think the final answer will be that there will be significantly more than the 2000 GTS' initially mentioned by dealers but maybe 1000-1500 less GTS than 812SFs. It does seem like with the 812 GTS, Ferrari used the tried and tested V8LE strategy of keeping the initial supply tight to create hype/demand and then producing a lot more cars on the back end. I remember 2-3 years ago when many here wondered if they would get a GTS but eventually anyone that wanted one badly enough seems to have gotten one.

True, but, remember, the SF90 reveal was just 4 months prior to the 812GTS and once the SF90 reveal occurred, 812SF orders were abandoned in a very large volume, very large (order to delivery became 4 months!) and the 812SF production ended about 14 months later (prematurely), I think Ferrari was legitimately concerned about the failure of the 812GTS and needed to hype it. As it became obvious the 812GTS did not suffer in the same way as the 812SF (from the SF90 being made the new 'top model'), Ferrari justifiably kept order books open as long as possible.

It's probably further along than what the dealer knows. The system seems to be well behind the actual stage. It should move fast from here.

That's exciting. I think when I got my Pista VIN it rolled pretty quickly.

Does anybody know if Grigio Coburn is able to be specced on atelier car? I’m sure I’ve read Tm only but my dealer said today I could spec so it has thrown my thoughts into chaos before factory spec on Tuesday

Also cost they said they think £8k but I’m sure I read on here it is more.

    can anyone share some knowledge?

    so, so lovely those seats.
I went for a similar look and feel for my GTS.
Timeless, classy and thus no CF!

Just sat in the airport after an amazing atelier experience, one I won’t forget in a hurry and for me the start of what I hope will be many more. Whatever ideas I had before the session pretty much went out of the window and I’ve ended up with something that I sat and thought “that’s the nicest spec gts I’ve seen” and I think that’s what it’s about, not everybody will share that view but to me I think it is going to be perfect!

Unfortunately couldn’t walk down the V12 line, at first was told it was closed but after a few phone calls I was allowed to walk about 1/3 of the way down… apparently not a Purosangue but something else we were not allowed to see, was quite intrigued but she would not tell me!
