Eurospares still has it as "New to order"...they've never let me down on my special order parts, but of course I've never tried to order a shift gate.

I'd buy 10 at that price.

There was one on eBay for $800 a few months ago, I should’ve bought it and flipped it here!

Thanks to everyone that has responded thus far - apologies in advance to anyone that fell off their chair or hit their head. As far as I am aware these are NLA from Ferrari and/or the usual parts suppliers despite any list price. A quick search of the forum will show what people think they're worth. As noted by another member, a car has to die nowadays to free one up as they are made of unobtainium so I think a "punchy asking price" is warranted. I will happily keep it as a glorified paper weight if no one is interested.

No objections from me. I've been selling reproductions of these, so you're doing a good job of making my repro's seem better value. :) I totally understand though why some people may put a high premium on keeping these key aesthetic features OEM, and they are hard to find as you say.

Seeing the price of these is making me consider taking the original off of my car and putting a repro part on just to keep thieves at bay. I think the $3k asking price is spot on to what I’ve been reading on here and BaT. GLWTS

I am yet to hear of one being stolen and doubt that many people appreciate the value of the OEM gate. If you need a repro, sounds like brogenville can sort you out!

I think this is peak insanity. It’s a piece of metal that can easily be reproduced.

Yes and no. You would probably be surprised how much trial and error there is in getting the geometry just right, and then getting a machinist to produce a part with the right aesthetic appearance.

I always have to laugh when people think its a matter of 3d scanning and then printing off a part.
