Condescending Wolff ?

Yeah... I noted that elsewhere in my comments. What Grojean did or didn't do years ago as a rookie doesn't exempt Lewis from being questioned. This is where I tend to get a bit tin-foil hat on F1, but it seems Merc have this way of escaping punishment for things. I'm just assuming they're incredibly talented at expressing their side of the story, but i do find it odd that the FIA didn't even bother talking to Grojean. Just because Haas is midpack doesn't mean they don't deserve equal respect and consideration. The midfield is fighting their own battles and each point means the difference between getting crap loads of money or not which is absolutely critical for the smaller teams.

Toto's comments are completely out of line. It was just a low low blow. Lewis clearly impeded Grojean. Whether or not it deserves some sort of penalty might be debatable but to stoop and attack Grojean while not even acknowledging the issue is just sad and actually tells me it's a defensive answer.

Hamilton obviously impeded his lap. Just another example of the FIA protecting their golden child Lewis Hamilton. Not that it would have mattered on Sunday anyway since Mercedes is back to being a dominant team since the FIA banned anything Ferrari had going for them.

And yes Wolff has quite the pompous attitude. These comments were completely unprofessional on his end. Ferrari needs to get back on track and have that prick back to pounding the table in front of him.

 

I guess Grosjean will never a drive at Mercedes then.

Fair is fair though, I can't stand the lettuce, but he was held up by elton, and anyone else would have had a penalty. Even the previous lap has no bearing on what happened at that very point so a crash in 2012 or whenever is irrelevant, so toto yet again shows he is a vindictive prat

While I've liked and continue to support Hamilton (and so far, for the most part, Russel) Toto Wolff has finally turned my ambivilance towards Mercedes as a team into dislike.
