I have a OEM challenge intake hose never could get it to seal completely or look wright. IMO OEM Challenge tube looks like a home dryer hose from Home Depot. Sure some one will not agree, I have change mine out 4 times before or got it wright.

Not sure if this will improve or cause worse performance but she'd maybe a couple pounds. Image Unavailable, Please Login Next step layer it with some heat tape as it's pretty thin don't want it to melt
if anyone has interest i have a brand new never installed rmr intake kit i bought for my 360 and never installed. i am going to list it in the classifieds.
i paid 499 plus shipping i was going to list it for 450 shipped. i am just waiting for the mods to upgrade my paid subscription so i can post it. he also found some of the rear strakes from the challenge cars, they add to fins each side to the stock rear diffuser. and i have more misc parts just sitting in a box.
I just bought some R-tuned CS air boxes and used CS maf’s. Will be getting a Mase tune but now feel I NEED to do this mod to make full use of those air boxes/maf’s. lol Looks like Randy’s solution from HPS is $230. That cheap as shi……chips.

For those who have done this, how does this change the intake noise? Is the hiss of the engine sucking air louder? I’m not doing this for performance really. This engine is already pretty highly strung. Just wonder what other benefits there may be. Increased induction noise would be worth it alone for me.
Vegas CS just my 2 cent worth, don't waste your time and money unless you want too save weight. You may only save couple of pounds at best.
I reposted the listing. The intake does add some sound coming from the intake port and i imagine a bit of power. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Thanks Randy. I saved around 80-90lbs by spending an eff ton of money on stock carbon racing seats and plan to move to a lithium ion battery to save another 50. 2-3 lbs doesn’t seem worth the effort.
On a spider, the CS intake ensures a cold air feed. Look at the holes in the OEM intake that allow in hot air from the engine compartment. That it’s a couple pounds lighter and sounds a bit better are just a bonus. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
If you get the carbon seats, install an Antigravity battery and get carbon brakes with titanium lugs you are approaching Scuderia weight savings.. no exaggeration. Maybe some lighter wheels too.... The scud had lighter wheels. I have all carbon in the engine bay and brakes, battery.. looking for doing a weigh in now.
I have the carbon seats in the car and CS Ti lug bolts on 18” BBS race wheels. Will do the antigravity battery when replacement time comes for sure. I was stunned with the weight difference in the seats!
