We are having sushi and rolls. I'll order two party trays and few individual pieces of sushi and a few orders of rolls. Should feed all 6 of us.
Not @boostedt0y Carlo quality photos, but trying My scratch sauce with meatballs. Hot here today so keeping it light with just the side dish, and steamed broccoli. Red wine chaser. A nearby brewery has a Cajun Food Truck parked out front this year. We are addicted, been there a bunch lately. Today was a shrimp poboy for her and I had the beef debris poboy. Some fries and fresh beer. My sandwich weighed a couple of pounds. Yummy. (And spicy) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Chinese take out tonight for seven people. Ordering the dinner combo for 8 and letting my Chinese SIL order a few extra dishes.
Looking great. Cento is good stuff. Might be the only canned item that the wife buys by the ton at Costco that I really like! T

It makes me smile as my wife learns of various “Americana”… She went to breakfast with my mom recently, and mom got biscuits and gravy, and then my mom proceeded to teach her about biscuits from a can. (My mom learned to cook in the 60’s and 70’s, sigh…nuff said) Ania of course has never imagined such a thing… So a few days later Ania comes home with a can of the pillsbury biscuits and says she’s gonna make something akin to chicken and biscuits that our foodie neighbors had made for us a while back. Thus tonight’s dinner. It was Ania’s Kitchen Sink Chicken and Biscuits (we used up leftover chicken, leftover zucchini, leftover sausages and some frozen peas). It was surprisingly good! (My favorite part was when she went to peel and open the can just as I started saying “be careful in will po…” right as it loudly popped. She jumped. Exploding pre-made chemical biscuits in a can…what a country!) Image Unavailable, Please Login

So...we got an Ooni Koda 16 Pizza over 2 months ago and it sat in the box in the garage until today...I have to say it was easier than I expected to cook pizza in there (I had seen a bunch of videos on YouTube that showed various sorts of disasters). We made dough yesterday afternoon and left it to ferment in the fridge until tonight. We made 3 pizzas; - Margherita - Pepperoni and Sausage - Pepperoni and Mushroom The best was the Margherita, I'd say it was solid and on par with many I've had around the world. The other two were not at the same level, but still good. We cooked at around ~700F on the stone. Overall, we found the oven to be pretty great and we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't encounter any disasters... Puppy-Pizzaiuolo was supervising, so that likely helped!
