Thanks i’m surrounded by so much beautiful mountain scenery on these 2,rallies I did up here in Canada. And tomorrow I start driving back home over the N. Cascade Highway which is amazing in its own so I have still got more to see. It’s apples and oranges comparing these cars as it’s a Supercar Coupe to a fantastic Sedan. The MC20 gives incredible presence. People have their jaw drop and say oui! And then they come up there and asked to take pictures and are thoroughly impressed. Surprisingly they sing all know it’s a Maserati. Only one person asked me if it was a Ferrari. I got lots of compliments on my Guilia QV even before I made it a wide body and then a whole bunch more afterwards but the MC20 is just nuts! All of the other rally drivers are even really impressed telling me that every time they see my car people are looking at it. So it’s a solid 10 on presence and being considered a true supercar. i’ll also give it a 10 on handling and driving comfort it’s amazing to drive and it feels like it is on rails!! Also it is very easy to daily drive with great seats. And in soft mode very comfortable but also dial it up and it really performs. The carbon fiber tub gives a ride that is just amazing it’s unlike anything else reminds me of my Alfa 4C stiffness but of course it has a much more sophisticated suspension. But there’s other similarities to the 4C too like the single windshield wiper. It’s most likely took five years to turn the 4C into a bigger much more powerful true supercar! And if you look at it that way then you can consider this “model upgrade” the best one ever made in history! The Guilia QV is an amazing sedan it rides great but up higher. And it has much more cargo room it’s a fantastic car on the road too and same for the Stelvio QV SUV but that looks a bit much more like a flying toaster lol Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
70 more HP and 90 Kg less weight than a 488 Challenge Evo! Pretty impressive, the 296 will probably have more power with the E assist, but doubt it will be much lighter.
Sorry for the little Off Topic but does anyone know when the Maserati GranTurismo V6 (Last ICE) will be unveiled? I heard 700hp and a total redesign.
My dealer told me last week that the new Gran Turismo will be launched in January 23 to coincide with the start of the Formula E season.
I would lay money on it that the GT will not be the last ICE Maserati. Maserati's owner said as much when the pulled out of the ACEA. MC20 today near Chicago. Image Unavailable, Please Login

LOL, not even as good as that completely digital video of the Ghibli Open Cup car video that so thoroughly fooled me for a while. It was so excitingly entertaining that I wanted to beleive it was real and missed all the little clues.
Yes, but it is put out by the factory, not a wannabe 23 year old enthusiast that has good photo shop skills.
Just Google Maserati GT2. I cannot link from my phone. This is as serious as it gets, a GT2 spec car prepped and deloppwd by the factory for privateer teams (mostly in Europe) it just took some time due to Covid and getting street MC20 production underway.
With traction control off you can slide this car. Not the fastest way around the corner but it’s fun to do occasionally and to learn how the car fully handles with no nannies. But the Corsa mode level of traction control and nannies is excellent. Maserati MC20 at racetrack traction control off slide
Thanks I do feel lucky You really never know how great any supercar handles unless you take it to the track. There’s just no way on the street even an empty road where you can push it anywhere near the limit safely and not irresponsibly. Look at the MC20 laying down the black rubber in this photo from that drift That being said if you take it to the track make sure it’s a good venue with good operators and watch for other drivers and have your car PPF covered to protect it from debris and the high speeds you’re at. But in some ways I actually feel safer on the racetrack then on the public roads with all the crappy drivers nowadays. Many supercar owners treat their cars like fancy handbags and they never really consummate the relationship. For me with a beautiful car or a beautiful woman no half measures… it’s all the way baby! And speaking of garment bags check out this custom MC20 luggage set Peter from Toplift AB makes in Sweden. Considering the limited cargo space this really looks like a great product! For the bag against the rear window I got the shorter height one so I can still have light come in from the window. I really like your post, particularly since I just arrived today in Stockholm, where I was born Proud of the clever craftsmanship displayed in those bags: heja Sverige! Regarding many just treating these cars like expensive male handbags, too right, cluelessness, fear of speed, zero driving ability or... missing the point of these cars by a million miles... I might write an article about those lost souls, it's been on my mind for many, many years actually.
