the customer would avoid doubts and confusion if each dealer would have boxes with samples of all the colors available and updated every year with a clear indication of the codes and therefore of the price. Unfortunately this is not the case. This is the truth. Furthermore, my atelier experience in Maranello was not very positive ... the small visit to the factory and the visit to v12 + V8 production lines was fantastic but as an aid in configuring my car I honestly expected MUCH MORE. This was my experience but i have to say it was during Covid restrictions. Therefore I don't want in any case demotivate people with meeting for their configuration with them.

Yeah I was kind of expecting what I had when speccing the Huracan EVO RWD, they had big swatch books with metal plates, you could go through and see/compare all available options right there. I understand this is also case with Bentley as well.

My Ferrari dealership had a car-shaped sample of Rosso Maranello, a few colours from California range on plates on a wall and some printed paper stock of a few colours. The e-configurator was horribly off as well, Rosso Maranello looked like Rosso Rubino at best on the screen.

Of course not the dealer's fault but for one of the most important options on the car Ferrari sure puts only mild amounts of effort, that is definitely behind the mark compared to other brands. Most of my colour research has been on photos I could scavenge on the internet/social media

My post was not intended to open a controversy on the work of Ferrari: probably this is not the right place but all "Ferraristi" should reflect that for a special color like Rosso Magma the price is USD 30K, the same price of a hyundai with same rosso effect. Crazy isn't it?
In addition you have to choose it with your closed eyes as the dealer will most likely not have a color sample that can be seen in sunlight and shade.
I hope Ferrari will soon be able to fill this gap.

You can request any colour from the factory and they will send it to the dealer.
    Done so several times.
