I didn't get a screen shot. Was just told 8% clutch wear and 199 seconds overheat time. This was confirmed by 2 Ferrari dealerships and neither one questioned anything.

We isolated it to a relay on the immobilizer board. After sourcing the relay from Portugal ($6) and replacing it, along with the alarm module, all was good...... until the AZ heat arrived. It all started again. Now the the weather is moderating, it is working fine. I have a feeling that the immobilizer board itself is failing. Fortunately, Eurospares has a fix. The 2 immobilizer boxes and a fob for ~$1000. Since the immobilizer only bonds with the passenger side ECU, putting this new one in and then swapping engine ECU's from side to side should give a permanent fix.

I'm still trying to figure why the car needs an immobilizer. It is THE worst feature. As these cars age, all these little computers are at risk. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I found your suggestion of replacing the tyco relays in trying to get an immobilizer on my 2009 F430 working properly again, relays seems like the issue as everything is working find other than the immobilizer light not going out, I live in China and was able to locate and order some Siemens relays fairlyclose to where I live with the same reference part number, maybe they will hold up better than the Tyco ones. I ordered 3 so I'd have an extra, I will let you know of the outcome when they arrive and I get them soldered in. Thanks for the post. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I recall seeing a post on here about a 430 immobilizer preventing it from starting, apparently the aerial for the immobilizer is a plastic ring on the outside diameter of the key barrel. The owner moved it towards the key and the Immobilizer light went out, car then started. He fitted a plastic spacer behind it so it was in a new position on the key barrel.

Is it legit? Can u post the link to the posts/videos?
Why did manufacturer put such kind of thing in very close contact until creating a problem to the immo from starting up the engine?

I can also do a full immo delete on F430 so you can start the vehicle without requiring any blue immobilizer authorization ECU attached to the vehicle (or fobs). On the F430 the fobs will still operate the vehicle central locking as normal. This method works best if there is a problem with the entire system and you just want it all gone and reliable...
    Pm for more information
