I must admit I really liked the C6 I had 3 or 4 Z06s and a 2009 and 2013 ZR1.... but I think my favorite was the 2013 427 convertible wish I did not sell that may by another one day ...
I love both my Ferrari and Corvette for different reasons... But what I can tell you is that I get way more positive attention and interactions from all walks of life in my Corvette. View attachment 4747924
That's a great color! My Dad and I ordered that color before the cars were widely available. The plan was he drive it for a year get bored and I would make a racecar out of it. My Dad is old and he thought he might die before he got his vette so he got back the deposit and bought a Supra in the middle of the pandemic. He is 89 and I think he has one more sportscar in him.
Racecar! You gotta build them tough. There is a lot of contact. I don't mind dying but I don't want to get hurt.
You have to be listening to a different band than the rest of us. Steve even with his blown out voice can do better.
OMG, I almost fell down. Here's the thing: I think Vette's are objectively superior to Ferrari (not counting potential appreciation with 'normal' models.) Yet this will always strike a chord.
If you hate Corvettes you call it brown. If you're a corvette snob zeus bronze metallic. I just call it bronze.
I just built an LS7 C6 for a customer..put 621 to the wheels..crazy performance for the money. The build will be on YouTube shortly..
Yeah.. I owned a 620 HP stock American car.. made in 2013. Guess what it was. .... nothing close to a Ferrari. Not sure why we're talking Corvettes here ... and by no means is this an attack on you. Just an observation from a Ferrari owner.
I love my C5Z, it really is the best bang for your buck on the market even though I could sell it for a decent bit more than I paid in ‘12, but I have to admit after 10 years of ownership I really find myself hankering for a C7…
Best bang for your buck performance car = vette. My flavor is the c6z06. Don't need to say much with what Ferraris bring to the table also...just 2 very different pedigrees with loads of racing history, enthusiasts who will kill for the brand. I must add a Mustang is in my collection of must haves also
That Zeus bronze is a beautiful color. It didn’t last very long which will make it a very desirable color. I ordered mine Rapid blue added a silver stripe with red interior. I have an F1 360 and people always ask me which one do I prefer. That’s like asking which one of your children is your favorite one. The 360 has voluptuous lines, the C8 has sharp edges.
THAT is a stunning color I have never seen on a C8. The new vette looks like maranello designed it. It is beautiful but in my humble opinion it does not look like a vette anymore, it looks like a Ferrari now.
Regarding the corvette engine…I understand the engine is very compact and provides an ability to lower the CG. I’m not an engineer but that’s what I read. The pushrod engine probably won’t have the pitch of a high revving Ferrari but they have a sound that is pretty nice. I’ve never owned a corvette but I appreciate they are a lot of car for the fraction of a Ferrari and the cost of ownership is lower too.
I have an 812 Superfast and a Mustang Shelby 500 GT … The Mustang gets all the attention. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love ‘em both for very different reasons. They each get my adrenaline pumping by doing very different things. Beauty and the Beast… Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
