I have ordered both 296 GTB and 296 GTS. I have been told the GTS will come most likely a year after I get the GTB. Since I’ll be replacing the GTB with GTS, what color(s) would be a safe bet to sell the GTB easily?

As long as it is tasteful and a realistic asking price it will sell very quickly. The time on the market is determined by you and your ask.

Rosso Imola, looks to be the launch color. Rosso Corsa used to be the bomb, but the flatness does not accentuate the beautiful curves like a metallic paint.

Rosso Imola for sure. Launch colors and specs are the safe bet.

I would do a "re-sell red" for a standard model ie GTB/S and a unique (still tasteful, subjective but maybe a dark green / blue) for a more special model...

Limited spec is the Instagram user with the green car in the first post. He also had this previously. This purple looks amazing, I know not everyone’s taste but in a sea of red or yellow cars I’d imagine it would get a premium right? What color is this? I know it’s not Viola Hong Kong

Just for the OP, tan on red looked much better in person than black.

I specc’d the GTB Rossa Corsa over black seats with red stripes at the time of placing deposit. Plan to firm up color and options once I get an allocation. Did not spec any color combo when I placed a deposit for GTS. FYI, am expecting my first Ferrari, a Porto M, Rossa Corsa (with black roof) over Cuiou and Matt Grigio wheels in 6 to 8 weeks (status 85 last week).

I’m an oddball but I don’t prefer black. Most on the market are black interior so if you want to differentiate, tan is the way to go. I always think of tan over red as the quintessential Ferrari combo. Even though I’ve never spec’d a red one yet! ;)

So question, I called my salesman yesterday and I sent him that green in the first pic to inquire about changing color and he told me its not a good idea to change the spec now as it would delay my delivery. That made no sense considering the car hasn't been assigned an allocation and is nowhere near being built. I ordered a custom color anyway, Rosso magma, so it wasn't even a cost issue as its a lateral move. Was he just being lazy? I don't understand how I can't change the color right now without causing a delay.
