That's not original Fiat/Lancia part, yes mine runs on all settings, very slow on first setting but works.

    Mine looks like this

It is amazing that you found a new original unit, identical to the one used in the 348 and 355 (seems NLA from Ferrari). From the info I have, this unit was used in Fiat Tempra, Lancia Dedra/Delta and Alfa 155.

The picture of the unit I showed earlier is a Chinese knock-off, advertised as Fiat p/n 7710279, but this unit also comes with what appears to be a Lancia logo:

Maybe also non-original, just imitating the Lancia logo. The sockets of these match the Ferrari 348/355 plugs and can be bolted-on but electronically they are different. On the 348, this unit would start running the blower from 6 bars and at 8 bars produce about 50% blower speed; on the 355 it would probably start the blower at speed 3 and at 4 it would produce about 50% of speed.

I suspect he got the Chinese one not an OEM one.

For info, a third Ferrari owner measured the resistances across the HVAC Control Panel pins associated with the rotary knobs and his values matched mine except for the temperature control knob:

Lots of other interesting notes in that thread, too.
