Like the title says, how many miles do you have on your F12? Any significant issues so far? Just looking for some encouragement from the group that the car doesn't turn into a pumpkin after 20,000 miles. Thanks in advance. Chris
2014 car with 30,000 miles and the problems so far are: Leaky rear brake light on the hatch - known issue fixed under warranty Faulty brake pedal switch - again known issue Leak (small) from power steering pump (just about to head into the dealers for that)
1,227 mi. Will definitely be driving it more often this winter. Way too hot during the summers here. Obviously no issues so far. Did all the standard preventions (tires, battery, had the rear mesh spaced and clear coated, PPFd.)
About 13,800. A seal which separates the two kinds of oils/fluids inside the transmission failed, thus mixing them. I think it's a rare problem. In any event, they said trying to replace the seal would entail a lot of $$$ and no guarantee it would fix it in the long run. So replacement was a better choice. I don't think you should be worried about this issue. I haven't heard many of these have this problem. However, you just always have to be aware that these are very expensive cars and something can go wrong unexpectedly....
just rolled over 10k on a nice desert drive. got it with 6500 on it two years ago (i split time between 458)
So far, so good. I've heard talk of 30,000 up to 60,000 mile F12's, so I thought I'd see what people have here. My assumption is that as long as the maintenance is good, the car should be relatively bullet proof.
10,500 miles, 3,500 miles of them from me. no issues at all. Replaced cracked thermostat cover dealer found during annual maintenance when flushing the coolant. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Had 6,000 on my 2016 when I went into my SF then GTS. Paint issues on rear vents. Nothing else. Thinking about adding one back but the prices….. ScottS
Coming up on 33,000 - 2015MY bought two years ago around 14k. Drive it 3-4 days a week. Warranty repairs: Two alternator belts - they did pulley upgrade on the second one Two batteries [first one was last August, only lasted 10 months] DCT rebuild - failed drivetrain gasket [the most common DCT failure] Corrosion in paint along the rear fender grille Fuel filler neck [dried out and cracked] First few oil changes were under the original 7yr service plan Out of pocket: 4x Michelin PS4S Two cupholder clips Oil change Wiper blades
I'm a relatively new owner as I bought mine 5 months ago, so no issues on my end but looking at the previous records I did see the HVAC control was replaced as part of the CPO prior to selling to me. It's a very simple replacement since you literally just pull the module out with your hands and unplug it, but it costs around $2k for the unit. The dealer covered it though since it was part of sale preparation. As an aside, the transmission in the F12 is the same as in most Ferraris from the 458 onward, so that isn't really an F12 specific concern. Fortunately there are now places that can repair and rebuild them should it ever become an issue.
Sold mine at 20k miles having done 9.5k of them myself. Battery (solved most niggles and lazy start) Tyres - one set MPS4S Rear brake light leak, resolved under warranty Cup holder broke Radio came on randomly on ignition on, engine on, engine off and ignition off. Never got it fixed, hardly a trauma. Expenses: Windscreen wipers, one set Injectors as precaution after possible dodgy fuel in France Transmission Fluid change also as precaution as am paranoid Total £1.5k Ran beautifully and loved her very, very much. Out to play in 812 this weekend to Snetterton to watch British Touring Cars Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Nearly 16k miles. Picked it up with ~3200 in December. No major issues other than the sinking dread that I love to drive it really long distances and it will be eventually worth nothing as a result, but hey I didn't buy it to just look at it. Wear items: Tires Wiper blades Window switch the dog stepped on and broke Think that's it so far. Expecting more soonish.
