He does a very good job of explaining things on youtube.
I watch his video's on the friday, saturday and sunday on F1 weekends. He's probably the best there doing it and pretty unbiased.
He is "ok" unbiased...pay attention and you will see a few drops of bias here and there. But considering others...he is fine.
I know Peter Windsor - not really well, but enough to have a chat with him, he's always been a very nice guy, hugely connected, and knows the sport in and out. If he says something I believe him. However, the USF1 was a debacle from the beginning. he lost a lot more than an entry... so I don't know why people hate him for that. F-1 teams are held together by chewing gum, and Band-Aids .... that one was just one of the thousands that never see the light of day. if you want an intro to Bernie and FOM - Peter can make that happen. monetizing that is part of the game.
He lost all credibility with me years ago when he lied and put on a front about developing a car and F1 team
I know Peter quite well. Extremely bright guy, thoroughly versed in F1 history, very insightful about the sport, and a talented writer (I wish he wrote books). If anything, I would fault him for his extreme naïveté over the Brabham and USF1 fiascos; neither of which enriched him. I think he strives to be fair in his analysis of the contemporary F1 scene. At the same time, he's never tried to hide his hero worship of Jim Clark, Gilles Villeneuve, et al.
I never quite understood why the hatred after USF1 ... If you never fail - usually that means you never tried.
