So is this a classified ad or just a link to a bat auction? If someone comes on and wants to buy the car can they do so or do they have to bid on BaT?
Gotta go to BaT. They have rules that the car can’t be advertised elsewhere while the auction is live. Links to the auction are fine. I’ve seen numerous threads here doing the same thing. OP-very nice 599. Looks mint.
Hi, Very nice car Vito, I hope you can make a sale like you wish. I have been following the forum for a long time, but I have just registered, I have a ferrari 599 gtb at 7500 miles from 1st owner and what I am wondering is; How is the second hand market of these vehicles around the world? v12 ferrari are always in a different place for me and as far as I know prices are going up gradually. For instance in which price range we can talk about a perfect condition and low milage 599 gtb for USA and Europe market.
You can go to BaT and see what cars were sold for and bid to. That might give you better information.
Somewhat shocked this apparently very nice, clean, enthusiast-owned good colors/options, low mileage car got bid only to $142k on the BaT buying exuberance machine. The ask for similar cars is much higher Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
599 are going back to pre covid levels seeing price reductions from dealer inventories and RNM on sales sellers are now following the market down
Hi Vito, I'm in the market for a 599. I'm in PA so not too far from you. I'm fairly new to Ferrari Chat but I've been a FCA member on and off for the last 5 years. I'd be interested in talking to you about your car and see if we can make a deal. Thx. John PS I couldn't figure out how to PM you, but I didn't try too hard.
Hoovies garage just bought a 599 that didn't sell on BAT for $133k. Looks very nice as well. Market coming back down for sure!
This car remains for sale as the reserve was not met on BaT. However, you can still review all of the photos at BaT. It is now a private sale with the owner.
Ask means nothing, many delusional sellers asking the moon for their cars, ..the market is the market and BaT is one of the places you will usually get the max for your car, and either way, when the vin is searched that BaT auction will always come up and sort of put a ceiling on the value of the car for a while..The greed has gotten astounding, i am in the industry and buy/sell mostly air cooled 911's and some people that offer me their cars are so off on realistic pricing that its laughable. PS: I'm not particularly addressing this car, i'm answering the above quote regarding "Ask Prices"
Yes, the market has come down a lot recently.... Hoovie just bought his 30k mile car for $133k. This one in the $140k's makes sense.
Agreed. No need to answer my quote as I also think “asks” mean nothing & are unrealistic @ this moment in time, yet $142k for this particular car (w BaT hype) seems about $15-20k low Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
