When you guys run challenge wheels do you use spacers or change to a specific alignment? I ask because the offsets are significantly different to 348 factory wheels and that’s surprising to me. The scrub radius is way off.

Fronts and rears are wider so offset changes to account for width difference. I'm sure someone somewhere ran spacers, prob 11 mm, but on the cars that raced there are no spacers. None defined as part of the factory set up for reference. The cars tended to handle better with wider rear and tucked fronts or so I have read over the years. Its why the later cars left the fronts alone and added 25mm to the rears. Pretty sure the challenge wheels did equivalent of that.

Good luck on your decisions and post of what you do!

Challenge wheels are way off, buddy. About 17mm tucked in the front and 25mm tucked in the rear vs later cars. That’s a big change in scrub radius.

Right, I wouldn’t expect that people run spacers. I’m actually curious about the alignment. Did you change it for those wheels?
