I have a expansion tank that needs to be repaired. Can anyone recommend someone who can do welding? Thanks

There is a guy near me who has done some welding for me, and mostly does motorcycle stuff. He seems really good, but I would guess you could find someone closer to you than where I am.

Not sure where you are at but there are several I use Everett and Arlington area. If its for the 308 and 328 I just install new as they are available for not much more then the repairs end up being.

This guy is good - I've had him weld roll cages, as well as repairing a stainless steel expansion tank. He's in Duvall, WA

Definitely a candidate for replacement, lower large tube will need a large cut out area to be patched in . I could do it but it won’t be pretty as it will take lots of finish work to make it passable and I don’t have the time. If you’re out of options then bring it over and I’ll help you do it one afternoon

I could probably do the prep work, and clean up. Just don't have the skill to do the welding part.

$400-$500 is about the right price. My experience has been once the seams start to fail the rest of the tank is in pretty poor condition and repairing is not a long term solution.
