As I said earlier, no I would not trade my 308 for a newer Ferrari. But interestingly, Sunday I drove both my 308 GTB and my F355 spider. I think after that comparison I would gladly trade my F355 for something newer like a 488 or F8. Understand, I'm talking about cars used for touring, not the track. The 355 is like a teenager with hormones raging. The 308 is more mature. Oh well, just ramblings of an old man. :)

    John,

I've be around these parts a long time.

Our 80-82 2Vs Injected cars don't get a whole lot of love around these parts.

But it is with a wee bit of tongue-in-cheek.

I will never get over selling my 81 GTBi - really stupid move on my part. I paid somewhere around $24k for a twenty-thousand mile car. Aside from fading paint, the car was in pristine condition.

Sold it chasing hp - a fools errand.

The number of people in these parts (FChat) that do EXACTLY THAT,

    Is UNCOUNTABLE.

    SAD.

    :(

My '81 is STILL ... MORE CAR,

    Than I am A DRIVER.

And I have been 'behind the wheel' since I was 11 yrs old, 51 years ago.

Maybe someday I'll 'fix' and 'UP' my Driving 'Skills.'

A 550 3 pedal car would be pretty tempting. But I can’t see that happening?
