Incredible car. Only a few cars I see getting near the laptime of this thing, the AMG 1, Jesko, and Senna.

Seems this car is an unreliable hypercar.
I don’t believe anymore all the artificial hype made by journalists or YouTubers.

Financial woes are nothing new for AML. Any current news claiming they are unreliable? I have not heard that but no road car deliveries in the US for at least another year. The AMR Pro is well built and has not suffered from reliability issues thus far.

Sounds very similar to the Walter Wolff and Lamborghini saga in the late 70’s , Wolff and some dealers prepaid some of the cars I believe to keep Lamborghini afloat . I hope for AM’s sake that they deliver fully developed cars to their customers, they have enough issues already and don’t need another fiasco on their hands

all these super duper hyper cars might end up being disappointments. i had high expectations for this one and while its still gorgeous especially compared to amg1, no one can drive it on the street. between the vibrations from the direct mounted drivetrain to the sound of the sequential transmission, its unstreetable.

its more of a lmp car like the old porsche 917 and 956 lemans cars that were converted for street. cool in concept but useless in reality.

although the senna is fugly, i bet it is exponentially better driver on the road than this is.

gordon murray must be feeling pretty good about having the best drivers car goat after watching all these videos

regardless, the hypercars of 15 yrs ago are way better than what we have now.

918, laferrari, p1 were all awesome in their own right with no negatives.

compare that to valkyrie that is unstreetable, amg1 that is ugly, sounds bad, and still has bugs to iron out, and even gma cars that look like were styled by mazda regardless how great they drive.

    Fully agree again.
My only regret is the bland look for the T50.

no, the owners are too scared to set lap times in general
I've tried to connect owners I know to journalists I know and it just isn't happening even with insurance paid for
there really is a mystery about what the valk is actually capable of and it's going to take a particularly relaxed owner to make it happen as AM aren't interested at all.

    ...or maybe not:

    (2016) F1 Mercedes F1 W07 Hybrid: 1:29.29 (-27.13s)
    (2017) LMP1 Toyota TS050 Hybrid: 1.36.97 (-19.45s) (it was raining in 2016 qualifying)
    (2020) LMP2 Orecca 07: 1:40.85 (-15.57s)
    (2020) LMGTEPro Porsche 911 RSR 19: 1.56.20 (-0.22s)
    (2024) Aston Martin Valkyrie (Cup2): 1:56.42

    15 secs slower than a 2020 LMP2!
